Summer is flying by!  My regular session students have created everything from pendants and bracelets to earrings, with a few venturing into using gold!  The Weekend Warriors have produced some great pieces - beautiful (and sometimes design challenging!) rings with beach glass and stones, Keumboo earrings, gravity cast pendants and bracelets, and the foldforming class "hammered out" earrings and bracelets. An enjoyable and productive time was had by all!

Cudos on all the wonderful work from everyone! They inspire me every day!

All of my courses are designed for one-on-one or small groups, allowing everyone the special attention needed to get the most from each class. The workshops listed below are open to all levels - no previous experience with metals necessary, but it comes in handy!

My studio is well equipped, with spaces to accommodate an individual or maximum of 3 students for beginning to intermediate/advanced level. I do my best to schedule students of similar caliber together, creating a smooth transition from beginner through to advanced.  Scheduling is flexible to fit your weekday schedules. Saturdays are open for specialized workshops throughout the year, driven by student interest.

If you are interested in any of the courses described below, feel free to contact me for any questions you may have. I will place your name onto my roster to verify your enrollment with  a follow up of any additional information required.

PLEASE NOTE : requests for private instruction and special workshops have an additional $20 fee to the prices listed below. I try to keep all available classes and dates updated, but cancellations and new options may come available.

WEEKDAY CLASSES - Small Group Instruction

Love jewelry? Make your own!
I will guide you through the process of creating your own jewelry. Learn at your own pace in this fully equipped studio. Personal instruction is offered for beginners, and students with previous experience may tackle new techniques or hone existing skills to add to their creative toolbox. More advanced projects may include stone setting, hinges, inlay techniques, and container constructions.

Please check on availability. All class sizes are limited to a maximum of 3 students. Enrollment in classes is fluid and ongoing, especially if a student is taking a 10 session package or single sessions and I will do my best to accommodate you.
Individual sessions are 3 hours long, with the number of sessions determined by student. Scheduling is flexible: Mon-Wed. AM or PM sessions.

Add Color with Titanium - Anodizing Workshop

In this intensive one day workshop, students have the opportunity to create some amazing pieces with this lightweight and hypoallergic metal. Titanium and Niobium are grey metals that take on a full rainbow of colors produced by heat, or using an anodizer. Color is instantaneous. Various masking techniques are used to create designs and patterns on the metal for coloring. After the anodizing is complete, finishing techniques are explored as to how the titanium can be used alone or as an element in a larger design. Once the gold is applied, the metal will the be fabricated into final pieces such as earrings, pendants and bracelets.

CLASS REVIEWS

Great class- highly recommended!      Mary S
I have taken this class with Pat for several sessions and I would definitely recommend it to anyone. You can come in with little or no jewelry experience [as I did at first], and keep coming back to learn more. Pat helps you adapt whatever design you come up with to your skill level and is very encouraging! She knows a lot about pearls, different stones, and all kinds metals, including titanium and niobium. Her classes are a lot of fun, and
really give you the chance to create the earrings, ring, bracelet, or necklace you've been imagining!    Emily N
I've taken Pat's classes for over 2 years and can honestly say I've never met a more experienced, exciting and stimulating teacher in all the many years I've taken classes. A highly skilled, extremely creative and supportive collaborator, Pat effectively and patiently, offers each student the means to create, produce and professionally finish each design. My work has progressed immeasurably since I started to work with
Pat, her classes are terrific, and lots of fun.     Carole H
I enjoyed this course a great deal. It was a great group of people and Patricia, our instructor is amazing. She's very patient and generous with her knowledge. She also let us use her own personal tools and I really appreciated the bench time that we got separate from our schedule sessions. I hope to join Pat again in another one of her courses.      Denise E
The class was a great experience. The instructor, Pat Daugherty was very knowledgeable, highly accomplished and an excellent teacher. The class was small and congenial and Pat was very hands on helping each one of us with the projects we chose to do. I would highly recommend this class and
this instructor. A lot of fun and skill development.     Naomi T
